Michelle Sullivan has a blog in French, but she decided to blog about my book in English. That’s fair since the call this afternoon and the book itself is in English. However, I would’ve loved to see a review en français about Podcasting for Profit.

In Chapter 10, I talk about my quest to learn French. I took my first french class in Grade 8 and studied the language until my second year in university. There was an incident that happened in my second year university class that prompted me to change my major. I won’t spoil it for you, but let’s just say the incident shook my confidence in speaking my language.

While I can conjugate verbs in my sleep, my comprehension is poor. Since graduating from university 15-years ago, I haven’t used my second language at all. And sadly, it’s about disappeared.

Maybe a version of Podcasting for Profit in French will force me to start speaking the language again? Now, there’s a thought. Or, maybe there’s a podcast out there where I can brush up on my French skills. Any suggestions?
